Thank you for visiting the webpage of the Faculty of Basic Clinical Sciences, College of Medicine, Ekiti State University.

The Faculty is one of the three Faculties in the College and serves as the bridge between the Basic Medical and Clinical Sciences. It comprises of five departments:

• Department of Anatomic Pathology
• Department of Chemical Pathology
• Department of Haematology and Blood Transfusion
• Department of Medical Microbiology and parasitology
• Department of Pharmacology and therapeutics

The faculty is currently involved in the training of undergraduates in the disciplines of Medicine and Surgery, Nursing Science, Anatomy and Physiology.

This Faculty is endowed with experienced and resourceful academic and non-teaching staff who are highly motivated. The staff operate in a conducive and friendly environment necessary for optimal delivery of service.

Our endeavour as Faculty (and support staff) is targeted at developing sound -minded, resourceful and problem -solving healthcare professionals.
