Dr Dada Mobolaji Usman was appointed as the Acting Dean in August 2023. A psychiatrist by training but with keen interest in psychopharmacology.  He graduated from Obafemi Awolowo University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree (M.B.Ch.B).

He proceeded to the Federal Neuropsychiatric hospital, Yaba where he completed his postgraduate training in Psychiatry and obtained the Fellowship of the National postgraduate medical college (FMCPsych) in 2009.

He has over 50 publications in both local and international journals and he is a member of some professional bodies including Association of Psychiatrists of Nigeria (APN).
