Dr. M.A. Olofin-Samuel is a Nurse with a special interest in community and public health nursing. She became a Registered Nurse in 2005 after graduating from the then School of Nursing, Ado-Ekiti. She obtained her Bachelor of Nursing Science degree in 2010 from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Oyo State; her master’s degree in nursing science in 2020 from Babcock University, Ilishan-Remo; and her Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) from Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti, in 2014. She obtained her Ph.D. in Nursing Science in 2025 from Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State. She is also registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria as a Public Health Nurse.

She commenced her career as a Staff Nurse/Midwife at the Ekiti State University Health Center on July 14, 2012, and rose steadily through the ranks. She later joined the Department of Nursing Science on the 7^th of May 2021 as Lecturer II. She has published 41 articles in local and international journals and co-authored few books. She is a member of several academic and professional bodies, including the National Association of Nigerian Nurses and Midwives, the National Association of Nigerian Nurse Educators, and the Academic Staff Union of Universities. She has served on various committees within the Department and the University, and is presently the Coordinator of the Department of Nursing Science.
