The Faculty currently comprises of five (5) departments, the office of the Dean is presently located at Room 01, First floor in the Physiology building while the offices of the Heads of Departments, academic staff members and laboratories in the Faculty are located in the three existing buildings within the Faculty.

The First Professional MBBS Examinations for the first set of medical students was held in September 2015. While the first set of degree students in Anatomy and Physiology graduated in 2020/2021 academic session.

The Faculty has had many Deans since when established:
