The Faculty of Clinical Sciences is one of the Foundation Faculties in the College of Medicine of the University.  At the inception, activities of the Faculty were geared at Patient care in the Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital (EKSUTH) since Medical students were still in the Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences and were yet to cross over to the Clinical side.  The Faculty started operations in the College of Medicine building housing the Department of Anatomy and Pharmacology, Emeritus Prof. Matthew Araoye MD, MACP, the foundational Dean of the Faculty was appointed in December, 2011.
