Dr. Kadiri Innih Asuekome is a Senior Lecturer at Ekiti State University and an Honorary Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon at the Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital with an interest in reconstructive plastic surgery, hand surgery and burns care and rehabilitation. He is a graduate of the University of Benin where he obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree. He is also a Fellow of the West African College of Surgeons. He assumed duty as Lecturer 1 at the University in July 2007 and has been deeply involved in imparting knowledge and mentoring the younger generation of doctors. He is a member of several professional bodies including the Medical and Dental Consultants Association of Nigeria (MDCAN), the Nigerian Burn Injuries Society (NBIS), and the Nigerian Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (NAPRAS), where he has held various leadership positions.

He has served the faculty on various committees. He was appointed Acting Head of Department on August 1, 2024.
